Ripley Junior School Homepage

We are a thriving and inclusive school of over 300 exceptional young people and more than 50 dedicated and inspiring staff. Every day, we work together to create a place where everyone belongs and where every child is given the opportunity to succeed.

At Ripley Junior School, pupils come to school Ready, Respectful and Safe. These values sit at the heart of everything we do and shape the culture of our school community.

Our curriculum is built around our three learning journeys:

  • Being You
  • Words Open Worlds
  • Learning Everywhere

These journeys inspire our teaching and sit at the heart of every pupil’s learning experience at Ripley Junior School.

We are committed to providing the very best opportunities during each child’s four years with us, helping every child to be secondary‑ready, fully supported, and ready for the next chapter of their education.

Our success is built on strong, positive relationships. We truly value our partnerships with families, our links with the community, and - most importantly - our wonderful pupils.

If you would like to visit our school, you are more than welcome.

Together, as a school community, we aim to Explore Today, Thrive Tomorrow.

Mr David Cholerton

Proud Headteacher of Ripley Junior School
